H2bid is the leading source of open bids from water and wastewater utilities. Our goal is to provide you with the best information about current contracting opportunities Our open bids include government bids, municipal bids, wastewater and sewage, tenders, Invitations for Bid, Requests for Information, Requests for Qualification (RFQs), and Requests for Proposal (RFPs) .
Our Open Bids can be searched by State/Province, Keyword(s), Category, and H2bid Document Number. Open Bids will remain on this section of the site until the closing date for the bid expires. Closed bids and awards can be viewed from the Search Bids/Awards section of the site.
VENDOR INFORMATION
Vendors can begin using the site by conducting a simple search. Thousands of bids are posted each month. Vendors must register and become a a Premium Member to view the complete details of most bids. (If a bid accepts online responses through H2bid, then a Regular Membership can be used to access the bid details and submit a response.)
Premium members can customize the Open Bids display by selecting certain States/Provinces and/or Keyword(s). You can also select multiple keywords and regions. Once customized, the Open Bids page will show only the selected bids. To view all Open Bids, you need to click Show All Bids.
EXAMPLE:
If you wanted to view only the bids from Michigan and California containing the keywords “sewer cleaning,” “drainage bids,” “pipe cleaning,” and “wastewater treatment” then you would select “Florida” and “Michigan” from the States. Next, you would follow these steps:
- Go to the page Configure Email Alert
- Select the Country and confirm that your selected country Has been chosen..
- Select the State(s)/Province(s) and click “ADD”
- Check to confirm that the selected State(s) or Province(s) are displayed
- Browse down and add the keywords one by one
- Click Save.
- Now you will see a link “My Bids” in the drop down of Open bids in the top navigation. Selecting the link will show the customized bids always.
- You can modify your preference at any time.
DOWNLOADING FILES
Often the bids include attachments that must be downloaded. The files to download can range in size from as small as 125KB to as large as 3MB, and are in an Adobe Acrobat PDF or JPG format. To view PDF documents the Adobe Acrobat Reader will need to be installed on your workstation. The Adobe Acrobat Reader is available FREE to download from Adobe.
